Foam Rollers
Side Quad (Iliotibia Tract) Stretch
Foam rollers are excellent tools for stretching, trigger point therapy as well as a balance training. Stretches are typically good for getting the muscle belly or the center of most muscles. With foam rollers you can stretch out the tendinous insertion points while also targeting the areas for fascial release.
Since the rollers can also move, you can move it up and down the length of the muscle. Balance exercises can be done as well such as one legged stands but please consult a professional to see if you are physically fit enough and able to before attempting anything.
