proper stretching tips

At Precision Health we believe in empowering the patient to help themselves through home stretches.  Some confusion can arise with stretching as to when to stretch, how frequent and with what intensity. 

A stretch should be held for 15 seconds or longer.  A stretch should be a static motion without any bouncing. A stretch should be repeated a minimum of 3 times for each muscle and this sequence should be done at least 3 times per day. It is also a good practice to get into of stretching the uninjured side as well.
