Mid Back / Trunk Rotation Stretch

When working at a stationary position, like at a computer, it is recommended that frequent breaks be taken to avoid muscle spasms, potential headaches and shoulder pain.

The recommended time frame to take breaks is every 20 to 30 minutes. A stretch you can perform at your workstation during your break would be the mid back/trunk rotation.

Sitting, reach one arm across body and support with opposite hand at the elbow.

Bend forward slightly and rotate upper body to increase the stretch in the back of the shoulder and mid back.

Taking a deep breath will increase the stretch.
