nutrition in the darker months
In these rainy dark autumn days you are likely not getting enough vitamin D. Vitamin D comes from sun exposure but there are other ways to introduce more vitamin D into your body. Vitamin D is important in maintaining bone density. Surprisingly, the best form of vitamin D concentration is canned sardines!

computer injuries?
Yes, it is true. People do get injured by using their computers. Constant typing can put a strain on the wrist flexors. These are the muscles on the inside of your wrist. This stretch will help you loosen these muscles.

november shoe drive
At the beginning of November we started a shoe drive, collecting shoes to donate to Covenant House and the Downtown Eastside Women's Centre. Response has been overwhelming so far. Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to go through their closets and find shoes to donate. If you haven't already donated, it is not too late, as we will be collecting shoes until the end of November. So, please bring your gently used shoes to either our Richmond or White Rock offices during business hours. Thanks for your generosity! |

Darren is a physiotherapist with 'sharp skills'. He provides his clients with intramuscular stimulation (IMS). IMS is the use of acupuncture-like needles to stimulate the release or loosening of both acute and chronically tight muscles.
