As the end of the year approaches, we become busier and busier leaving important things such as rest and exercise to the side. While you may get invited out, or be hosting events in the next few weeks, you will need to remember to schedule time for yourself, otherwise any events you have planned may not be as enjoyable as they could be.

side quad (iliotibia tract) stretch
Foam rollers are excellent tools for stretching, trigger point therapy as well as a balance training. Stretches are typically good for getting the muscle belly or the center of most muscles. With foam rollers you can stretch out the tendinous insertion points while also targeting the areas for fascial release.

If you are on Facebook, you can now join our profile page. It is a brand new page, and we would like to have it as an opportunity to keep you up-to-date on upcoming events, special presentations/talks, photos from events, and a discussion forum for you to provide feedback and ideas.
Share stories of upcoming races you are doing and find others who are doing them as well... Tell others of how you have had a specific injury and overcame it with treatment/stretching/exercise, etc...
We welcome any ideas as well if you want to see something specific or if you want to start a discussion.
