Except for the occasional snowfall (!), the weather is beginning to warm up and that means getting out and training for the spring. This month we continue to talk about keeping active and focus on running and walking -- for those of you with a specific event in mind or those that just want to increase energy and fitness.

benji chu | the 315 mile marathon for kids
In October 2006, Richmond, BC resident Benji Chu came up with the idea of running 12 marathons in one year (the equivalent of 315 miles), after completing the Portland Marathon and the Royal Victoria Marathon on back-to-back weekends. He then went on to complete the California International Marathon in December of 2006, followed by P.F.Chang's Rock N' Roll Arizona Marathon in January 2007...
